Founder: Sidharth Roy
Sidharth Roy is the founder and lead developer of SoundSage. He is a student of The Shri Ram School Aravali studying science and hoping to pursue engineering. he is an avid enthusiast of mathematics, computer science, and music.
My Story
Studying Math and Computer Science, I wanted to combine those interests with his love for music. I strove to create an application which could aid myself and others compose music inspired by their favorite musicians. Combining his knowledge of computer science and music theory he created SoundSage a pattern identifier for music. I am constantly looking for ways to make SoundSage better, may it be by adding more functionality or using music theory to make the analyzed results easier to use for users.
CTO: Advik Vermani
Hey there! I’m Advik Vermani, a 12th grader at West Windsor Plainsboro High School South and the CTO and Director of Curriculum at SoundSage. I worked with Sidharth to develop SoundSage's AI model to analyze & compose MP3s based on tempo, chords and melodies. As someone who's been playing the viola for 8 years and the guitar for a few years, I know how powerful music is as a tool to express, create, and build community. Although I've enjoyed studying music theory, I was disappointed by the lack of resources available for music theory learners. This is inspired me to create free online resources and learning guides, so that self-learning music theory is as simple as self-learning any STEM subject.
